DIDDLES DAM


Yup, thats correct 'Diddles Dam', though today it looks
          more like a farm track.
   I believe the name may be a leftover from the days when the
     flat fens were being reclaimed from the marshes and the banks
           were built to hold back the water.
  (I could be well off the mark, if you can shed any light on the
           name I would love to hear from you.)
