THE HAYES FAMILY
 The Hayes family lived in a large house on Main Road which they knew
as High House or Gray’s Farm. George Hayes was the head horseman
at Gray’s Farm owned by Eddie Cave , there were 7 children, 3 daughters
and 4 sons. The sons also worked on the farm.
The following pictures are all courtesy of the 3 Hayes daughters, Eileen English
Jean Batterham and Ann Collins.
All the photographs (except for the wedding photos at the church and village hall )
were taken at High House and on the farm.
The house is now called Gray’s Hall.
