 THE OLD BELL INN  The pretty Bell House was once The Bell Inn.  The Bell Inn on VJ day
1945
was William Butler in 1836, although we
know
from an old map that The
Bell was an Inn in 1826.
The final Licensee was
Jack Sparkes in1967. It closed its doors on 26th April 1967,
and at a hearing
in 1968
the license was not renewed.
